Lxmp is based on a simple structural principle of two interlocking aluminium plates in cross formation supporting a circular shade. Interlocking plates facilitate an e27 LED bulb fixture while translucent grid etched diffuser disc softens light emission from the top.
Lxmp follows the notion of creating a structural language that can be expanded through different iterations. eg. tabletop, standing, pendant.
The balanced geometry and contrast in volume adheres to the importance of an object being as beautiful in use as it is when idle.
